the sisal cord, the fibre of agave leaves, is sewn together in a spiral. the strength and colourfulness of the bowl is the result of multiple zigzag stitches. the upper thread provides the colour of the bowl interior, the lower thread colours the outside. the bowl is for bread, odds & ends, nuts, fruit, keys, jewellery... and light.
